STRI Australia is pleased to announce its appointment by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as dedicated consultants to the global governing body. This partnership will support the ICC in ensuring cricket pitches consistently perform at the highest standard, meet regulatory requirements, and provide safe, reliable playing conditions for athletes around the world.
STRI will support the preparation and delivery of tournaments throughout 2026, assisting in pitch rotation plans and optimisation of surfaces throughout competitions. In addition to this there will be a focus on the development and delivery of curator education programs and CPD resources, enhancing expertise related to playing surfaces across the game.

As part of the partnership, STRI Australia’s specialist consultants will deliver a comprehensive suite of services, including detailed field inspections, pitch construction guidance, outfield renovation advice, maintenance strategies, and soil and clay analysis. This technical support ensures cricket surfaces are safe, resilient, and able to deliver the performance expected at the highest levels of elite sport.
